Vucic: 311 mln euro defence industry contract signed with friendly country

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Thursday a major, 311 mln euro defence industry contract had been signed with a friendly country.

Speaking to reporters at the Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlovic Air Base in Batajnica, Vucic declined to elaborate but noted that the other party was not an African country.

Serbian Armed Forces team heads to Slovenia to join flood relief efforts

BELGRADE - Twenty-two Serbian Armed Forces servicemen departed for Slovenia on Wednesday to join flood relief efforts in the country.

The servicemen, who come from the Serbian Air Force and the 63rd Parachute Brigade, took off from the Colonel Pilot Milenko Pavlovic Air Base in Batajnica near Belgrade aboard H-145 and Mi-17 helicopters.

Minister Lončar visited the injured in Bulgaria: Two children in intensive care unit

Minister Lonar stated, after visiting the injured in the bus accident in Bulgaria, that one passenger's leg was amputated, not the driver's, as previously reported.
Lonar, who visited the injured in the hospital in the town of Stara Zagora with a colleague from Bulgaria, said that he talked to children and adults and that the operated child is feeling well.
