Today, the Fate of Penka the Cow will be Decided
The Director of the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency personally will decide the fate of Penka the cow today. The animal crossed our border with Serbia and spent 15 days on the territory of our western neighbor, then returned home. This has forced Penka to be tested for viruses to prevent disease.

UK economy slows sharply, investors cut bets on May rate hike
Britain's economy slowed much more sharply than expected in the first three months of 2018, with heavy snow only partly to blame, prompting investors to slash their bets on a Bank of England rate rise next month.

David Bowie Statue Unveiled in Aylesbury
A statue of David Bowie has been unveiled in the town where he debuted Ziggy Stardust.
The bronze sculpture, entitled Earthly Messenger, can be found in Aylesbury's Market Square.
It features a likeness of Bowie in 2002 regarding a selection of his alter egos down the years, with Ziggy at the front.
