Paris attacks suspect Salah Abdeslam arrested during Brussels raid

Paris attacks suspect Salah Abdeslam has been wounded in the leg and arrested in a police raid in the Molenbeek area of Brussels.

“We got him,” the Belgian secretary of state for asylum and migration tweeted, confirming reports of Belgian media that claimed that Abdeslam had been caught alive.

French Police Arrest Four Suspected of Planning Terror Attacks

French police have arrested four people suspected of planning imminent terror attacks in Paris, French TV channel TF1  reported on Wednesday.  

Three men and one women were arrested at dawn in Paris and the nearby suburb of Seine-Saint-Denis.

French domestic security service DGSI had files on the four suspects for links to radical Islam, TF1 said on its website.

One suspect has been shot dead in a counter-terrorism raid in Brussels linked to last year's terror attacks in Paris in which 130 people were killed, the BBC reported on Tuesday.

As many as two other suspects are reportedly on the run after Belgian police raided an apartment in Forest, a south Brussels suburb, according to the BBC.

Shots have been fired at Brussels police during a house raid in the southern suburb of Forest, in Brussels.

According to local media, gun fires were heard in an apartment.

A police officer was injured during the raid, though it was unclear whether he was hit by gunfire, a police spokeswoman said, as cited by Reuters.
