The Christmas spirit has also arrived in Chalkida with the tree lighting ceremony.

On December 25 we celebrate Christmas, also known as Nativity of Jesus, Bozhik or Bozhich. This is one of the greatest church holidays in the Christian world.

Decorating the Christmas tree is perhaps the most popular custom associated with the Nativity of Christ.
