COVID-19 vaccination in Africa

A number of 15,682 doses of Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson&Johnson vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours, of which 12,496 represent the first dose and 3,186 - the second dose, according to a report released by the National Coordinating Committee for Activities on Vaccination Against COVID-19 (CNCAV) on Tuesday.

More than 68 percent of Turkey's population aged 18 and above have received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, while the rate for the first dose for the same age group is over 85 percent, data from the Health Ministry have shown.

Turkey is vaccinating large numbers of migrants against COVID-19, the country's health minister has said.
