Four soldiers dead in new truck attack in Jerusalem!

 

A Palestinian drove a truck on people in Jerusalem. According to the first information there are four soldiers dead and at least ten more people wounded.

 

The perpetrator was shot and killed on the spot. According to the authorities there is no doubt that the attack was intentional and not an accident.

 

Four Killed as Lorry Plows into Jerusalem Market Crowd

At least four people died on Sunday as a truck rammed into a crowd in Jerusalem, local media say.

The driver, who police say was neutralized, was an East Jerusalem resident, according to Jerusalem Post.

Thirteen others were left wounded in the attack. Of these, three are in serious condition.

All victims, three women and a man, were reportedly in their 20s.

UNESCO Adopts Resolution on Palestinian Cultural Heritage

UNESCO has officially adopted the resolution on the preservation of Palestinian cultural heritage in East Jerusalem which caused angry protests on the part of Israel, reported BNR.

The project on the resolution approved last week caused a harsh reaction on the part of Israel which stated that it is freezing its cooperation with the cultural organisation.

UNESCO Head 'Received Death Threats' over Stance on Jerusalem Resolution

UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova has received "death threats' over her supposed reservations about a resolution that would only highlight holy sites in Jerusalem as Muslim and not Jewish.

"The director general has received death threats and her protection has had to be reinforced," Carmel Shama Cohen, Israel's Ambassador to the UN, has told Israeli public radio, according to AFP.
