The founder of Turkey's leading internet company Doğan Online, Hanzade Doğan Boyner, spoke on May 20 about the importance of education at a gathering with some 36 of the most successful female students of the Aydın Doğan Foundation (ADV), telling the students to pursue their dreams by going to university and completing their degrees. 

The 21st Aydın Doğan Award was granted to Turkish contemporary painter Neş'e Erdok on May 9 at a ceremony. 

Doğan Group Honorary Chairman Aydın Doğan has declared a case into one of the group's former companies, Petrol Ofisi, to be entirely devoid of any legal or concrete basis during the latest hearing into the case on May 8.

Two Doğan Media Group companies, Hürriyet Gazetecilik A.Ş. and Doğan Gazetecilik A.Ş., released separate statements to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) on April 10, saying that reports on the "sale of daily Hürriyet and daily Posta do not reflect the truth."

Turkish society should reevaluate its "common values" if it wants economic progress and higher social welfare, Doğan Holding Chair Begümhan Doğan Faralyalı said on March 24.      

The Doğan Group has issued a statement regarding false allegations directed at the company in recent days. The statement is as follows:

The president of the Aydın Doğan Foundation, Hanzade Doğan Boyner, has said the foundation aims to support the education of girls and their participation in the workforce.

Some 118 projects by undergraduate communication students received a host of prizes at the 28th Young Communicators' Competition organized by the Aydın Doğan Foundation (ADV) at the Cibali campus of Kadir Has Universty in Istanbul on Feb. 21.

Turkey's first digital TV platform, BluTV, celebrated its first anniversary on Jan. 23 at an event held at the Trump Towers Cinemaximum Movie Theaters, during which Turkey's first online TV series, "Masum" (Innocent), was also launched. 

The event was attended by Doğan Holding Honorary Chairman Aydın Doğan, Doğan TV managers, "Masum" actors as well as press members and many guests.
