Greece to Unveil Reform Package Soon, PM Tsipras Tells Merkel
Athens will present shortly its list of reform proposals related to the extension of its bailout program, Greek PM Alexis Tsipras told German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Monday.
During his visit to Berlin, Tsipras held a meeting with Merkel that Greek government officials later described as "cordial".
Greece sees reforms deal with lenders in next 10 days, spokesman says
Greece expects to reach a cash-for-reforms deal with its creditors in the next 10 days and intends to meet all its payments in June, the government's spokesman said on Friday.
"We think conditions have matured for (talks) to progress further and in the next 10 days, in May, for the deal to be sealed," Gabriel Sakellaridis told Skai TV.

The Greek parliament adopted a "humanitarian crisis" bill on Wednesday, the first package of social measures put forward by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras' radical left-wing government.

Gov't spokesman Sakellaridis resigns from council position
Government spokesman Gavrill Sakellaridis on Monday officially resigned from his position as municipal councilor at Athens City Hall as the appointment to his new role following the January 25 general elections has made it impossible for him to hold both positions.
Two out of three SYRIZA MPs accept state car
Parliament President Zoe Kostantopoulou criticised the media on Friday for publishing what she claims are “inaccuracies” regarding the number of MPs who have received a state car.
Kostantopoulou pointed out that a total of 67 MPs — including 47 of her ruling SYRIZA party — declined the offer of a leased state car.

Leftist Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras' own Youtube channel features videos of most of his addresses not only with English subtitles and sign language, but now with German ones too!
The first video with German subtitles, in fact, was his address in the Greek parliament on Tuesday regarding the sensitive issue of WWII reparations that the Greek government wants from Germany.
