U.S. television commentator and conservative economic analyst Larry Kudlow will replace Gary Cohn as President Donald Trump’s top economic adviser, the White House and Kudlow said on March 14, adding another loyalist to Trump’s inner circle.

Larry Kudlow will take the job of top economic advisor to President Donald Trump, replacing Gary Cohn.
On Wednesday, Kudlow and the White House confirmed the economist and senior CNBC contributor accepted the post of National Economic Council director. The president offered Kudlow the job on Tuesday night after other conversations between the pair on Sunday and Monday.

Trump's Chief Economic Adviser Resigned
Donald Trump's Chief Economic Adviser, Gary Cohn, Director of the National Economic Council, resigned, reported AFP and Reuters.
Cohn was firmly opposed to the President's decision to impose import duties on steel and aluminum. He tried to dissuade Trump from his intention, but the head of state confirmed yesterday that he would impose the duties in the coming days, AP notes.

Trump says he 'likes' Fed chair Yellen
U.S. President Donald Trump said on Sept. 14 he had not yet decided who will be the chairman of the Federal Reserve come February, but said he "likes" incumbent Janet Yellen.
"I do respect Chairman Yellen a lot. I like her and I respect her but I haven't made that decision yet," Trump said, giving the clearest hint yet that he could keep the 71-year-old on.
