Albania Eyes Fresh, Longer, Ban on Hunting
Albanian is preparing to impose a new ban on shooting of animals and birds for another five years.
The Ministry of Environment told BIRN that the new draft law is on its way and is expected to pass parliament in July and take effect early in the autumn.

American hunting duo returns empty-handed after search for wild goats
Two U.S. citizens, who spent some $20,000 for wild goat hunt in Turkey's Black Sea province of Artvin, returned back to their country empty-handed as they were unsuccessful in a 10-day hunt.

None of these hunters can be unaware of the fact that their shoots are totally illegal.

Gunmen kidnap at least 26 Qatari nationals in Iraqi desert: Officials
About 100 gunmen kidnapped at least 26 Qataris from their hunting camp in a sprawling desert area near the Saudi borders in the early hours of Dec. 16, the regional governor and police officials said.
Two police officers in Samawa confirmed the kidnappings and said security forces launched a wide-scale search for the Qataris.
