CAS rejects Kolubara appeal, upholds FSS decisions
BELGRADE - The Lausanne-based Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has rejected an appeal filed by Serbian football club Kolubara against a Football Association of Serbia (FSS) decision to strip it of its licence and relegate it to the Serbian third division, it has been confirmed to Tanjug.

Vucic said that this is important for Valjevo, Lajkovac, Mionica, but also the entire Kolubara district.
He stated that by the end of 2022, it is realistic to complete the works on the road and watercourses.
Vucic: Exactly in two years - to Pozega by highway
This road section is 17.6 kilometers long and will connect the entire route from Belgrade to Cacak by 120 kilometers.
By finalizing that part of the Milos the Great highway, the travel from Belgrade to Cacak will take an hour ride.

PM: Kolubara to be this year's biggest investment in Serbia
LAZAREVAC - In 2017, 250 mln euros will be invested in the Kolubara coal mine, and it will be the biggest investment in Serbia, Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic said after visiting the mine's Field D in Medosevac on Monday.
Speaking with workers, Vucic wished them a happy International Workers' Day and thanked them for "always being there" for their country.

250 million euros will be invested this year in the Kolubara coal mining basin, and this will be the biggest investment in Serbia in 2017.
Prime Minister and President-elect Aleksandar Vucic said this after visiting the mine's Field D in Medosevac on Monday.
Emergency Sector chief warns of possible flooding
The MUP Emergency Situations Sector has warned local headquarters to raise the level of preparedness in view of the forecasts announcing heavy precipitation.
According to the Sector's chief, Predrag Maric, the rivers Western (Zapadna) Morava and Kolubara and their tributaries will be monitored around the clock for as long as such weather persists.

Sixty-year-old woman robbed pharmacies in Valjevo
A sixty-year-old housewife G.M. armed with a plastic gun managed, on two occasions, to rob a pharmacy in the center of Valjevo. She also robbed a pharmacy in Jadar on Kolubara. She took from facilities about 52,000 RSD (~420 EUR), reports Serbian daily "Vecernje Novosti".

Chinese start building Corridor 11 section in Belgrade
Aleksandar Vucic on Wednesday attended the start of works to build a 17.6-kilometer Corridor 11 highway section.
It will connect Belgrade's suburban municipalities of Surcin and Obrenovac, Tanjug is reporting.
