Mitsotakis meets with Republican senators on Crete

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis held a working breakfast at his residence in Hania, on the island of Crete, with a group of Republican US senators, including Jerry Moran, Susan Collins, John Boozman, John Cornyn and John Hoeven.

Defense Minister Nikos Dendias and US Ambassador George Tsunis also attended, a press release from the Prime Minister's Office said. 

German press lauds Greek economy

German newspaper Handelsblatt has published an article discussing the performance of the Greek economy and efforts to combat tax evasion.

It notes that Finance Minister Kostis Hatzidakis submits monthly data on budget management, emphasizing that Greek state coffers are full.

Social media controls to protect minors

The government is working on new proposals to curb the spread of violent and harmful content on social media, particularly targeting the growing issue of juvenile delinquency. The plans, developed by the Prime Minister's Office at Maximos Mansion, reflect the wider European effort to address the problem, which Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has described as a pan-European crisis.
