Six MiG-29s to be in Serbia by end of March - DM
The six MiG-29 planes Serbia is set to acquire from Russia should arrive in three months at the latest, Defense Minister Zoran Djordjevic said on Wednesday.
After this, the jets will be upgraded in three stages, he said.

BELGRADE - Serbia's Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic will visit Moscow on Wednesday to sign an agreement on the supplies of six MiG-29 fighter jets to Serbia on very favorable terms, Kommersant business daily writes.
Serbian PM Visits Moscow to Agree Arms Deal
Vucic started his visit to Moscow on Wednesday to agree the arms deal with Russia, which will see Serbia acquire six MiG-29 fighters and an unknown quantity of other military equipment, his office said.
BIRN contacted the Serbian Defence Ministry for information on the arms deal with Russia but did not get a reply by the time of publication.

BELGRADE - Serbia's Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said he plans to discuss possible purchase or six Russian MiG-29 fighter jets when he will pay a visit to Moscow on December 21, Tanjug reported on Monday.
"We are in talks to purchase six planes," the agency quoted him as saying.

BELGRADE - Serbia is expected to receive six Russian Mikoyan MiG-29 multirole fighters and armored vehicles at a huge discount, totaling approximately $80 million, Defense analyst Miroslav Lazanski told Sputnik, commenting on unconfirmed reports that Moscow is ostensibly planning to transfer weapons to Belgrade.
Lazanski said that this is a very good bargain for Serbia.
