Turkish state-run pipeline operator Botaş has raised natural gas prices by 9 percent for residential users and 18.5 percent for industrial users, energy sector sources said on Oct. 1.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Azeri President Ilham Aliyev and Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili will inaugurate the Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) project on June 12 in central Turkey, Ankara announced on June 10.

The Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) project will enter into service as of June 12, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Berat Albayrak said on May 11.

The future gas hub near Varna, for which just a feasibility study will say whether it is economically justified, has already been declared an object of national importance.

The Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) will start to operate at the end of June, General Manager Saltuk Düzyol said on April 18.

Germany has approved the construction and operation of the Russia-built Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, its operator and the German maritime authority said on March 27.
