PARIS - Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic is through to the Roland Garros quarter-finals after crusing past Peruvian Juan Pablo Varillas 6-3, 6-2, 6-2 on Sunday.

World number three Djokovic won after an hour and 58 minutes of play and Varillas, who ranks 94th in the ATP rankings, won only seven games in the match.

He will next face Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, who beat Frenchman Luca Van Assche 6-4, 7-3, 7-6 (8-6) in the second round.

The prize money at Roland Garros is 49,600,000 euros.

Vavasori won after five hours and ten minutes of play.
