Plamen Konstantinov Leaves Head Coach Position of Bulgaria's National Volleyball Team
The Bulgarian Volleyball Federation has parted way with its men's volleyball team head coach Plamen Konstantinov. His contract expired at the end of the World Championships last month, and after meetings between he and the federation president Dancho Lazarov, the split was announced. Konstantinov had been the head coach of the team since 2014, reports VolleyMob.

Tomorrow Prison Staff go to a National Protest
A second national protest of prison staff and judicial guards will take place tomorrow in Sofia. Protesters will submit their claims to several institutions - the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Finance and the Council of Ministers. One group will go from the Court of Justice. The protest march on Saturday will be led by bagpipes in national costumes.

Bulgaria is 1/4-finalist in Eurovolley '17
The Bulgarian national volleyball team beat Finland 3:1 (-23, 21, 11, 12) and qualified for the 1/4-final of the European Men's Championship in Poland. The intrigue in Krakow's playoff match disappeared after the end of the first game in which the Scandinavians took advantage due to the hesitant play of the Bulgarian team.
