Three police officers have been arrested in Ankara on allegations that they had engaged in illegal wiretapping for what the government describes as the ?parallel state,? the movement of Islamic scholar Fethullah Gülen.

On October 1, 2014, special police were conducting a major anti-drug operation aimed at netting a ring of international traffickers of marijuana.
One of the suspects, Bardhok Pllanaj, was seen entering in a car, which was stopped but police officers did not dare to enter it.
ABC News, a television station in Tirana, on Monday said it knew the reason why.

Hunt for Ferguson gunman continues
Missouri police forces are on the trail of the gunman who opened fire during a protest outside Police HQ in Ferguson, wounding two police officers. St. Louis County police spokesman John Bellmar stated that the caliber or type of weapon used has not yet been clarified or whether the gunman was aiming against police. He has not clarified on whether Police are close to making an arrest soon.

Police to launch scheme for Athens crime crackdown
The Greek Police is planning to enforce a new scheme in the coming days aimed at curbing crime in the capital?s historic center as well as other central districts and increasing a sense of safety for citizens, the force said in a statement.

Ombudsman: VBA provided initial documents
