Vucic welcomes Pendarovski at Prohor Pcinjski
VRANJE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic welcomed North Macedonian President Stevo Pendarovski at Prohor Pcinjski near Vranje, southern Serbia, on Wednesday.
The two presidents will first visit the monastery of St Prohor Pcinjski - where they will lay a wreath - and then hold a meeting.

Austria urged North Macedonia to include Bulgarians in its Constitution
"It makes sense and it is necessary for the Republic of North Macedonia to make changes to its constitution", said the President of Austria, Alexander Van der Bellen, at a joint press conference with the President of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski. This was reported by BTA.

The President of Northern Macedonia has Declared a State of Emergency
Macedonian President Stevo Pendarovski has declared a state of emergency throughout Northern Macedonia, BGNES reported.
In a statement to the nation, Pendarovski said this was necessary to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Prime Minister Oliver Spasovski called on parliament to declare a state of emergency because of the spread of COVID-19 at noon today.

Stevo Pendarovski was Sworn in as President of North Macedonia
In the presence of four presidents - Bulgaria, Albania, Kosovo and Serbia, and in the absence of the VMRO-DPMNE opposition, the new president of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, took office. There were also two former presidents of the state - Branko Crvenkovski - who rarely appeared at mass events and the former one - Georgi Ivanov.

Stevo Pendarovski has been sworn in as the new president of North Macedonia, promising he will serve all citizens in a deeply politically divided society and will lobby European Union leaders to approve the start of his country's accession talks in June.

The first round of Macedonia's presidential elections delivered a surprisingly close outcome - the ruling SDSM candidate, Stevo Pendarovski, emerged less than 1% ahead of his main challenger, Gordana Siljanovska. This was despite polls which had shown him to be up to 5% ahead.
