Bulgaria's Consumer Prices Fall 0.9% Y/Y, Stay Flat M/M
Bulgaria's consumer prices fell 0.9% year-on-year in December, the statistical office said on Wednesday.
Compared to November 2014, Bulgaria's December consumer price index (CPI) was unchanged, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said in a statement.
Food Prices In Russia Rise Considerably
The food prices in Russia have risen significantly, reports the Nezavisimaya Gazeta daily, quoting data of the Russian Statistics Service.
Inflation is also rising - the data as of the beginning of December shows that the annual inflation has reached 9.4%.

Bulgaria's consumer prices rose 0.9% month on month in October after falling by 0.2% in each of the previous two months, the statistics office said in Wednesday.
Inflation high in Turkey despite the fall in oil prices
Despite the fall in world commodity prices, primarily oil, in Turkey inflation rates cannot be pulled down to the desired level. Central Bank Governor Erdem BaÅçı announced the Inflation Report last week, saying that they had expected a fall in inflation in October, but the opposite happened.

Bulgaria's consumer prices fell 0.6% year-on-year in August, marking the 13th straight month of deflation, official figures showed on Monday.
The drop in consumer prices, however, has slowed down for a third month running, compared to the hefty decline of over 2.5% in February 2014.
Food for thought
At 0.1 percent monthly, Turkeyâs August inflation, which was published on Sept. 3, disappointed again by coming in slightly higher than expectations of 0 percent. Annual inflation rose from 9.3 to 9.5 percent.
