Bulgaria Warns of Rising River Levels
The environment ministry on Thursday warned of an expected rise in river levels as rain started to fall in many Bulgarian regions.
According to a forecast of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology, a more considerable rainfall is expected in southern Bulgaria.

Code Yellow For Bad Weather Declared Along Sea Coast
Code yellow for torrential rains and high winds is declared for Bulgaria's Black Sea Coast, said the National Meteorology and Hydrology Institute.
In the regions of Dobrich, Varna and Burgas the forecast expects gale force north wind and torrential rains. The weather is expected to improve on Sunday.
Weather warning issued as rain and hail expected on Wednesday
Authorities issued a weather warning for most of mainland Greece on Wednesday as heavy rain or hail is expected.
The National Meteorological Service said that there would also be strong winds.
The bad weather is expected to move to the northern and eastern Aegean, as well as the Sporades islands and Evia, overnight.

The National Weather Forecaster has on Thursday issued a Code Yellow warning of downpours and storms for 20 counties to stay in place from 6 p.m. on Thursday till 6 a.m. on Friday.
July to Be Wetter Than Normal
Rainfall in July would be a bit over the normal values, said Krasimir Stoev of the National Institute for Metorology and Hydrology.
The average rainfall in July is between 40 and 60 liters per square meter.

Rain showers accompanied by thunder will fall in the afternoon. Towards the evening, hail could strike parts of eastern Bulgaria, the National Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology warned.
