86% Of Bulgaria's University Students Ready To Relocate
Eighty-six percent of Bulgaria's university students are considering relocation to another country or city, shows a survey of the Bulgarian Industrial Association among students and employers.
At the same time, only 10% of the students have a clear knowledge on what are the requirements of their future job.

Bulgaria's MPs, Ministers Get Pay Rise
The recently elected Bulgarian MPs and ministers are getting a pay rise, shows data of the National Statistic Institute on the average salary in Bulgaria.
According to the data, the average monthly salary in Bulgaria's public sector in Q3 2014 rose by 5.8% year-on-year and reached BGN 900.

Civil servant wage discrepancies abound despite unified wage scheme
As the government attempts to revise a unified pay structure for civil servants in a bid to iron out differences without increasing spending, a study of the new scheme reveals that discrepancies still abound, with employees in certain parts of the public sector receiving as much as 2,000 euros more per month than colleagues with the same qualifications.

Average monthly salary in July at RSD 45,216
BELGRADE -- The average July salaries and wages in Serbia were at RSD 45,216 (EUR 384) which was a 0.8 percent increase in real terms compared to June.
The average gross salaries and wages paid in July 2014 were RSD 62,380 and compared to June 2014, this was an increase of 0.7 percent in real terms.

Hellenic Post calls 24-hour strike for next Wednesday
The union representing employees of Hellenic Post (ELTA) who are based in Attica on Friday called a 24-hour strike next Wednesday, protesting under-staffing and demanding the immediate recruitment of additional workers for the summer period.
Unionists threatened to continue with a four-day strike, from August 11 through 14, if their demands are not met.
Half of Bulgarian Employers Loosen Purse Strings on Easter
Despite the crisis, almost half of Bulgaria’s companies will give Easter bonuses, a study of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry shows.
Some 43% of employers will give incentives to their workers, usually ranging between 10-30% of their salaries, BNT reports.
