N Korea says it conducted successful test of multiple rocket launchers

North Korea's latest test of super-large multiple rocket launchers a day earlier was a success, state media said on March 30.

North Korea fired what appeared to be two short-range ballistic missiles off its east coast on Sunday, the latest in a flurry of launches that South Korea decried as "inappropriate" amid the coronavirus pandemic.

North Korea says missile over Japan was 'first step'

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has called on Aug. 30 for more ballistic missile tests targeting "the Pacific," according to Pyongyang's state-run.        
         
He personally oversaw the launch of a projectile over Japan early Tuesday morning Korean time, prompting Tokyo to condemn the test as an "unprecedented threat."        
         

UN Security Council to Meet over North Korea Rocket Launch

The United States, Japan and South Korea have requested an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council following Sunday's launch of a long-range rocket by North Korea, Fox News has reported.

The security council session is likely to start at 11 a.m. New York time (6 p.m. Sofia time) on Sunday.
