4 Million Electric Cars from over 300 Models Will Be Available in Europe in 2025

Electric vehicles in Europe will increase dramatically in the coming years. 214 electric vehicle models will be available in the European markets in 2021, up from about 60 in 2018. It is expected that by 2025 there will be over 330 available electric vehicle models .

Plovdiv May Remain without Public Transport

The three companies that serve the 29 public buses in Plovdiv alerted that the city may remain without public transport.

Carriers said they have accumulated debts to fuel suppliers and are operating at a loss, so they demanded an increase in the municipal subsidy.

Lithuanian-Bulgarian Electric Car Sharing Service Spark Enters Romanian Market

Spark, a new car-sharing service, entered the Romanian market offering local customers electric cars to drive themselves and use over the desired period of time, Economica.net reported.

Spark was set up in Lithuania in 2016 by Lithuanian entrepreneurs, after which the Bulgarian entrepreneurs joined in 2017.

It is Not Expected Increase in the Price For Paid Parking in the Capital

There will be no increase in prices for the paid parking areas in the capital.  This was stated by journalists Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee on Transport and Tourism Zafir Zarkov.

In today's session, the municipal councilours adopted the report on a Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan in the capital.

Transport stoppages coincide with heat wave

'Metropolitan City Transport' Launches From Today 20 New Buses

New buses of the line 280 and 85 of "Metropolitan City Transport", using natural gas and which meet the requirements of Euro 6 will be launched in the capital reported Econ.bg

,,For 5 years we renovated 90% of all city buses on line and reduced 2.5 times harmful emissions from public transport'', said Yordanka Fandakova, Mayor of Sofia.
