Panel discusses "new Cold War" - and if it will remain cold

NEW YORK -- A panel discussion dubbed, "The West and Russia: A New Cold War?" was organized in New York by the CIRSD think-tank.

The Center for International Cooperation and Sustainable Development (CIRSD) was founded and is led by former Serbian Foreign Minister and former UN General Assembly President Vuk Jeremic.

Gasic, Dikovic welcome Serbian peacekeepers

NIS - Serbian Armed Forces troops returning from the UNIFIL multinational operation in Lebanon were given a ceremonial welcome at the Constantine the Great Airport in Nis on Tuesday.

A company from the 21st Infantry Battalion of the Land Forces 2nd Brigade was welcomed by Serbian Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic and the Serbian Armed Forces Chief of Staff, General Ljubisa Dikovic.

Reception held for participants of UN missions conference

BELGRADE - Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic has hosted a reception for the participants of a regional conference on involvement of Western Balkan states in United Nations peacekeeping missions.

Serbia will make a full contribution to the role of the United Nations in preserving peace in the world, Dacic said late Monday.
