Parts of Sofia Will Remain Without Water for 12 Hours
In connection with the replacement of a shut-off valve on "Beli Dunav" street, district "Nadezhda-3" from Sofia Water warns that today (April 16) it is necessary to stop the water supply from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the area of the districts:
- "Nadezhda-1"
- "Nadezhda-3"
- "Vrabnitsa-1"
Rosatom Launches 3D Printed Valves for Pulmonary Ventilation
Rusatom-Additive Technologies (RusAt), part of Rosatom's fuel company TVEL, has produced prototypes and is ready to launch a vent for venturi valves used in artificial pulmonary ventilation apparatus. The need for them has increased many times because of the coronavirus pandemic. RusAT's production facilities allow the production of about 300 products per week.
Gas Leak Detected on Russian Ferry in Bulgaria's Varna
A liquid petroleum gas leak has been coming out of a 20 tonne tank on the Slavyanin ferry near Bulgaria's port city of Varna, Friday.
The vessel sails under the flag of Russia and is located in the ferry complex near the city, BGNES reports.
Teams of the regional directorate of the Fire and Emergency Safety Directorate are on the site and are trying to cool the tank.
