BELGRADE - The Independent Journalists' Association of Serbia (NUNS) and the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade have awarded annual prizes for investigative journalism in the electronic, print and online media categories.
Vucic: State to withdraw from all media
BELGRADE – Serbia’s Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said Thursday that the state will withdraw from all media.
“This is the idea I have. I can see the pressure right now as everybody wants the state to remain in the media. It is because they are not able to make a market for themselves,” Vucic said for Nedeljnik, a Belgrade-based weekly.

BELGRADE -- Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić says the state will withdraw from the media ownership, and that before the summer break new media laws would be adopted.
"Absolutely. That is my concept," Vučić told the Belgrade weekly Nedeljnik when asked whether the state would withdraw from the media.
