WIND

A yellow wind code for the northeastern regions - Silistra, Razgrad, Shumen, Ruse, Varna and Dobrich, was issued by the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) for today.

Unlike yesterday, today will be sunny throughout the country with maximum temperatures between 12 and 17 degrees Celsius, in Sofia - around 12 degrees. A weak westerly wind will blow, in the eastern regions and along the Black Sea - a northwesterly wind, which by the evening will be oriented from the east-southeast.

The proposed revisions to the spatial framework for renewable energy sources (RES) aim to modernize legislation in order to keep pace with technological advancements, address climate changes (such as changes in wind speed and solar radiation intensity) and better account for increased environmental protection concerns.

Clouds will break and reduce today to mostly sunny weather. It will blow moderately, in Eastern Bulgaria - a temporarily strong wind from the west-northwest, but after noon it will weaken, and in the evening in Western Bulgaria it will subside. The minimum temperatures will be between 8 and 13 degrees Celsius, and the maximum between 19 and 24 degrees, in Sofia - around 19 degrees.

An orange code has been issued for the entire country due to expected intense rainfall and strong winds.

Today will be mostly sunny. Cloudiness will increase in the evening over Northwestern Bulgaria and it will rain in some places before midnight. A light southerly wind will blow. The maximum temperatures will be between 22°C and 27°C, in Sofia - around 23°C.

In the morning hours there will be low stratus clouds or fog in places in the lowlands and valleys. During the day, a moderate, temporarily strong, gusty wind with a south-southwest direction will blow north of the mountains and in Southeast Bulgaria.

The minimum temperatures today will be between 12°C and 17°C, in Sofia - around 13°C, along the Black Sea - between 14°C and 19°C, and the maximum - between 21°C and 26°C.

The weather will remain warmer than usual today. Clouds will be variable, more significant in the morning hours, but the chance of precipitation is small, and after midday it will decrease to mostly sunny weather from the west.

It will be cloudy today, over the mountain areas mostly significant, there will be almost no precipitation. In the morning hours, there will be low clouds or fog in places in the eastern areas. The wind will remain from the northeast, moderate, in places in Central South Bulgaria and along the Black Sea - temporarily strong.
