Greek Farmers Withdrawing from Blockades
Greek farmers are leaving the roadblocks across the country, public radio BNR reports.
Tractors are already withdrawing from key junction in Western and Central Greece, leaving only the border with Macedonia sealed off, the broadcaster's Greece-based correspondent says.

Around 10,000 refugee children to attend school this month
Some 10,000 refugee and migrant children up to the age of 15 will be attending Greek schools by mid-February, according to the Education Ministry, which is also working on a similar plan to provide vocational training to people aged between 15 and 24.

The Onassis Cultural Center presents Moliere's "Don Juan" in a new production by Michail Marmarinos, which adds fragments from other versions of the legend. The cast is led by Haris Frangoulis as Don Juan, Elena Mavridou as Donna Elvira and Yiannis Vogiatzis as Dom Carlos. Performances run from Wednesday, January 25, to Sunday, February 19.

In an all-time first for Greek basketball, Milwaukee Bucks small forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has been selected for the NBA All-Star game in New Orleans on February 19.
Papaioannou Tribute | Athens | January 18
The Mikro Mousiko Theatro pays tribute to the late rebetiko legend and pioneer of the genre's balladeer style Yiannis Papaioannou (1913-72), on Wednesday, January 18. The concert, organized with his family's support on the 104th anniversary of his birth, will include performances by dozens of popular Greek folk singers and musicians.
