Serbia beats Greece 3-1 in Davis Cup tie
BELGRADE - The Serbia Davis Cup team defeated Greece 3-1 in Belgrade at the weekend to stay in the Davis Cup World Group.
On Saturday, Serbia's Miomir Kecmanovic defeated Aristotelis Thanos 6-3, 6-3 and Novak Djokovic beat Ioannis Xilas 6-0, 6-1.

Danilovic suffers early Wimbledon exit
LONDON - Serbian tennis player Olga Danilovic has failed to qualify for the second round at Wimbledon after losing 7-5, 6-1 to Romanian Anca Todoni in the opening round of the women's singles event on Monday.
World 142 Todoni won after an hour and 21 minutes of play.
Danilovic is 116th in the WTA rankings.

Grigor Dimitrov, Bulgaria's most accomplished tennis player, commenced his 14th appearance at Wimbledon with a dominant performance on the grass courts of the All England Club in London.
As the 10th seed, Dimitrov defeated Serbia's Dusan Lajovic 6-3, 6-4, 7-5 in the first round, marking his 20th victory at this prestigious Grand Slam tournament and his 30th win of the season.

ROME - Serbian Novak Djokovic, the world number one in men's tennis singles, lost 6-2, 6-3 to Chilean Alejandro Tabilo in the Rome Masters third round on Sunday.
World number 32 Tabilo won after 68 minutes of play.
Djokovic seeded in Rome Masters first round
ROME - Serbia's Novak Djokovic, the world number one in men's tennis singles, will be seeded in the first round of the Rome Masters tournament and was on Monday drawn to face the winner of the tie between Russian Roman Safiullin and a qualifier in the second round.
Djokovic is the top seed at the tournament.

Lajovic loses to Monfils in Miami opener
MIAMI - Serbian tennis player Dusan Lajovic has been knocked out of the Miami Masters tournament after a 7-6 (7-5), 6-4 defeat to Frenchman Gael Monfils in the first round.
Monfils, who won after an hour and 34 minutes of play, will face Australian Jordan Thompson in the second round.

Lajovic beats Ruusuvuori to advance to Indian Wells second round
INDIAN WELLS - Serbian tennis player Dusan Lajovic is through to the second round of the Indian Wells ATP tournament after beating Finn Emil Ruusuvuori 7-5, 6-2 on Thursday.
Lajovic, who won after 97 minutes of play, will next face Frenchman Frances Tiafoe.

KRALJEVO - Serbia are out of the tennis Davis Cup after a shock 4-0 defeat to Slovakia in a qualifier for the competition's group stage, played in Kraljevo, central Serbia, at the weekend.
On Friday, Serbia's Miomir Kecmanovic lost (7-6 (7-2) 6-2) to Lukas Klein and Dusan Lajovic was defeated 4-6, 6-2, 6-0 by Alex Molcan.
Serbia's Krunic, Djere and Lajovic crash out of Australian Open
MELBOURNE - Serbians Aleksandra Krunic, Laslo Djere and Dusan Lajovic are all out of the Australian Open after first round singles defeats on Tuesday.
Krunic lost 6-4, 6-1 to Frenchwoman Clara Burel, who won after 68 minutes of play.
In a five-set thriller, Djere was defeated 6-2, 6-7 (3-7), 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 by Frenchman Arthur Cazaux after three hours and 28 minutes of play.
