Dacic, Indian ambassador discuss improvement of cooperation

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic on Monday received Indian Ambassador Narinder Chauhan to discuss further improvement of all forms of cooperation, in particular in the economy.

Bilateral relations are registering a positive development, a statement released by the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs quoted them as saying.

Indian embassy donates two vehicles to Obrenovac

BELGRADE/OBRENOVAC - The Indian embassy donated on Wednesday two vehicles, an SUV and a tractor worth a total of EUR 33,000, to the Obrenovac utility companies.

The donation contract, secured by Mahindra and the company Agropanonka from Novi Sad, was signed by head of the Obrenovac municipality Miroslav Cuckovic on behalf of the local authorities.

BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic met on Wednesday with India's Ambassador to Serbia Narinder Chauhan, who informed her that India had decided to provide USD 100,000 as aid for the flooded regions in Serbia.

Chauhan expressed her sympathy to Gojkovic over the loss of human life in the floods, the parliament information office has stated.
