Emergency guidelines after police cell deaths
Following two deadly incidents, Attica police issued an urgent directive on Friday regarding the safety of detention centers.
A Pakistani inmate died in unknown circumstances at the Agios Panteleimon police station, while a Bangladeshi national committed suicide at the Omonia precinct.

Evros: Arrests for illegal transportation of immigrants
Police authorities have arrested three people for illegally transporting immigrants in areas of Evros.
Hooligans arrested over officer killing
In the largest ever operation against fan violence in the country, Attica police proceeded with a barrage of arrests on Monday of Olympiakos club hooligans for their involvement in the fatal injury of the riot policeman Giorgos Lygeridis and in at least 14 more cases.

Police officer on admin leave for misappropriation of service weapons
An Attica police officer was placed on administrative leave on Friday, two days after being arrested for the misappropriation of service weapons.
A sworn administrative inquiry has been ordered into the officers' activities.
Woman arrested for importing narcotics from the US
A 22-year-old Greek woman was arrested in Athens on Thursday after importing cannabis from the US, reported the Hellenic Police on Sunday.
The woman was arrested after receiving a suspicious package from the US, containing approximately 1.5 kilograms of raw cannabis.

Unidentified attackers target cafe in central Athens; possible link to Monday’s fan violence
A group of unidentified attackers targeted a cafe in the central Ampelokipoi neighborhood on Thursday, in an incident that seems to be connected to the violent clashes that took place outside AEK Athens' home stadium in the western suburb of Nea Filadelfia on Monday, leading to the death of a 29-year-old supporter.
MeRA25 says lawmaker was beaten by riot police
MeRA25 party said that its lawmeksr and Vice-President of Parliament, Sofia Sakorafa, was attacked by riot police outside Attica police headquarters on Wednesday evening.
Sakorafa was at the building along with others after a roundup of protesters against the education bill and tried to intervene.

The government is activating its confidential Artemis plan to tackle the Covid-19 virus, with the mobilization - possibly on Friday - of two new operational centers coordinated by the General Secretariat for Civil Protection, with a third in the process of being set up to have a supervisory role.
