Pro-Europe rally on Mon. again in front of Parliament (watch live)

“Anti-austerity”, distinctly anti-capitalist and mostly government-friendly the one day, “pro-Europe” with significant whiffs of anti-government and … anti-communist fervor the next day — so goes the “dueling” rallies in front of Greece’s Parliament.
Monday is the turn of the pro-Europe side, the second such a gathering in less than a week, a day after yet another anti-austerity protest. Blue, the color of the Greek and EU flags is ubiquitous in the protests held by the pro-Europe side, whereas … red is prominent in the others.
As per the participants and their characteristics, videos of each offers several clues.
Monday’s protest, as per the mostly social media-using organizers, aims to pressure the leftist government to avoid risk of “Grexit” or even an exit from the European Union — a long-held “goal” by tiny minorities on both the extreme left and right of the political spectrum.
Monday’s rally is again billed as “Menoume Evropi”, which in Greek means “We are staying in Europe”!
Similar rallies are planned in other cities around the country.
