Djokovic defies injury to advance to Olympic semi-finals

PARIS - Serbia's Novak Djokovic is through to the semi-finals of the men's tennis singles event at the Olympic Games in Paris after beating Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-3, 7-6 (7-3) on Thursday evening.

Due to problems with a knee injury, Djokovic was forced to seek medical assistance between Game 3 and Game 4 of the second set but went on to win the match in a tie break after a total of two hours and two minutes of play.
