Urgent investigation ordered into missing CCTV footage from Thessaloniki station
Greek Supreme Court Prosecutor Georgia Adeilini has ordered an urgent preliminary investigation to determine why footage from CCTV cameras at Thessaloniki Railway Station, which was handed over by the station's management to the investigating judge in Larissa handling the Tempe train crash inquiry, did not include videos from the site where the freight train was loaded.
In her order, the prosecutor, who cites reports on the matter from Kathimerini and in.gr websites, demands that the preliminary investigation be completed within one month from the receipt of the order and requests to be kept informed of its progress.
