Teenagers attacked in soccer-related incident
Three teenagers were attacked by a group of strangers outside a metro station near Piraeus on Monday night, sustaining minor injuries, in what seems to have been a soccer-related incident.
According to state broadcaster ERT, the assailants approached the teens, all aged 17, inquired about their soccer club allegiance, and then launched the attack before fleeing the scene.
The minors received first aid, were detained for questioning, and were later released after no evidence was found against them. Greek police are working to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.
