Drecun: Pristina should form its gov’t as soon as possible
NOVI SAD - Chairman of the Serbian parliament’s Committee for Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) Milovan Drecun said Sunday that it was necessary for the executive government in Pristina to be set up as soon as possible as it was vital for the creation of the community of Serb municipalities (ZSO) and continuation of the Brussels process.
Talks with IMF will be continued
NOVI SAD - Governor of the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) Jorgovanka Tabakovic said Sunday that the country’s talks with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) were expected to resume in the fall, after the adoption of a revised budget.

NOVI SAD -- Defense Minister Bratislav Gašić says the creation of the so-called army of Kosovo would be a threat to Serbia's stability and the stability in the region.
According to him, Kosovo and Metohija remains the country's biggest security threat.

Serbian programmers win three medals in Taiwan
BELGRADE - Four young programmers from Serbia won three medals at 26th International Olympiad in Informatics that closed in Taipei on Sunday , leader of the Serbian team Nikola Milosavljevic has stated.
The Serbian programmers scooped two silver medals and one bronze at this year's competition whić
brought together 311 participants from 82 countries.

Russia hires two Serbian companies for railway modernisation
BELGRADE - The company Russian Railways RZZD International hired two more Serbian companies, Novi Sad-based Energotehnika-Juzna Backa and ATM from Belgrade, within the project aimed at modernisation of the Serbian railway system.
Sonja Kaisarevic gets Danubius Young Scientist Award
NOVI SAD - This year's Danubius Young Scientist Award for Serbia has gone to Sonja Kaisarevic, the Novi Sad-based Faculty of Mathematics (PMF) announced on Wednesday.
Kaisarevic received the award, together with other young scientists from the Danube region, at the ceremony in Vienna on June 25.
Japanese artists win choreographic miniatures competition
