The new tourist guide of Aitoloakarnania is published

The new tourist guide of Aitoloakarnania will be presented at a special event to be held on November 11, 2024, at the “Kostis Palamas” building of the University of Athens (48, Akadimias Street) at 7 p.m. in Athens. The event will be coordinated by the journalist Kostis Tsiakanakas and will be addressed by Nikos Kordosis, lawyer – founder of the Public Benefit Cultural Organization “DIXODOS” and the journalists Nikolas Vafiadis, Evangelos Spyrou and Vassilis Talamagas.

The tourist guide (Editions Aitoloakarnanikos Typos) was edited by the philologist Dimitris Vlachopanos, who based his work on the 2009 edition, updating all the data and revising the information based on the current situation. It is a luxurious printed edition, consisting of 232 pages, measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, and includes all the municipalities of Aitoloakarnania, highlighting all the attractions, with up-to-date maps, historical data, a full description of each area and useful information for the visitor (monuments, museums, restaurants, accommodation, etc.). The purpose of this luxurious Tourist Guide is to promote our prefecture as a travel destination and to enable its owner to obtain comprehensive information about Etoloakarnania. It is a multifunctional tool that will soon be available to all citizens, institutions, and services.
