One Turkish soldier killed in PKK attack in Turkey's east

One Turkish soldier was killed in a clash with outlawed Kurdistan Worker's Party (PKK) militants in the eastern province of Van on June 7, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.

The clash occurred in Van's Başkale district during an operation against PKK militants. One soldier was injured and taken to hospital but there he succumbed to his injuries.

Eight PKK militants killed in eastern Turkey

Turkish security forces killed eight members of the outlawed Kurdistan Worker's Party (PKK) in the eastern province of Kars on June 4, according to the province's governor.

The Gendarmerie Command Units of the city have launched an air-supported anti-terror operation in Kağızman district, Kars Governor Rahmi Doğan told Anadolu Agency.

Air operations conducted against PKK targets in northern Iraq

Turkish fighter jets hit outlawed Kurdistan Worker's Party (PKK) targets in northern Iraq, killing four militants, the Turkish General Staff said on May 22, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.
        
The military said the anti-terror air raid hit targets in the Kandil region, a mountainous area in northern Iraq used as a headquarters by the PKK.        

HDP to propose new solution plan for Kurdish question

Turkey's Kurdish issue-focused Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) is readying to announce a new plan for a resolution to the decades-old Kurdish question at an extraordinary congress on May 20, HDP spokesperson Osman Baydemir has said, stating that his party will work toward "a process where there is no conflict and war."

14 PKK militants killed in Turkey's southeast, northern Iraq

A total of 14 outlawed Kurdistan Worker's Party (PKK) militants were killed on April 29 in separate air operations in Turkey's southeastern Adıyaman province and northern Iraq, the Turkish military said.
 
In a written statement, the Turkish Armed Forces said an hour long air operation on Iraq's Sinat-Haftanin region starting at 8.31 a.m. had killed six militants. 

Four Turkish soldiers wounded in landmine blast in Turkey's Hakkari

Four soldiers were injured in a landmine blast in southeastern Turkey on April 28, a security source has said. 

The four were slightly wounded when a landmine planted by outlawed Kurdistan Worker's Party (PKK) militants in the Şemdinli district of Hakkari province went off. 

The injured were airlifted to Hakkari State Hospital, the source added.
