BELGRADE - Presidential Advisor Marko Djuric has said on Wednesday, referring to the floods that hit Serbia, that President Tomislav Nikolic will continue talks with representatives of the international community, noting that the real challenges will arise after water retreats.

BELGRADE - EBRD President Suma Chakrabarti will arrive in Belgrade on Wednesday for a three-day visit to meet with Serbian government officials and discuss the details and priorities of the recovery from the floods that have caused greate damage to homes, companies and infrastructure across the Balkans.

KRUPANJ - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic on Monday visited Krupanj, a municipality in western Serbia that has been hard-hit by floods which also killed one resident.

Regional countries offer assistance to Serbia

PODGORICA -- Montenegrin PM Milo Đukanović sent a telegram expressing condolences to his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vučić for the victims of floods in Serbia.

OBRENOVAC - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic said on Thursday that the authorities would do all they can to save every human life which is top priority at this point, while the damage and repairs would be discussed only once the natural disaster is over.
