The Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is meeting the leaders of the opposition political parties to inform them of the four main positions of the Greek side in the Geneva negotiations in the coming Thursday, 12th of January.
Government sending mixed signals
Just a few days after Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos sent a letter to Greece's creditors assuring them that the Christmas bonus to low-income pensioners was a one-off gesture, Minister of State Alekos Flambouraris told a private television channel on Wednesday that the government would not hesitate to grant a similar bonus next year if there is a surplus.

PM Tsipras asks for consensus while lashing out at opposition
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras called the leader of main opposition party New Democracy, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, yesterday in an attempt to reach consensus and define a national stance on refugees and migrants issue.
However, a few hours later Mr. Tsipras lashed out at Mr. Mitsotakis, who is in favor of a common stance on refugee issue.

Greece will act as a conduit between Iran and EU, says PM Tsipras
Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras visited the Tehran’s Pardis Technology Park (PTP) on Sunday in the framework of his two-day visit in Iran and presented what he called a framework of cooperation between Greece and Iran.
Mr. Tsipras stressed that the two countries could work together in the areas of technology, innovation, energy, trade, culture and shipping.
Greek gov’t hired German consultants for privatizations
Greek government had hired German consultants last year in order to help them with the privatizations, as Greek newspaper TA NEA reports today.
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and former Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis had contacted GoetzPartners so as the company to provide Greece its expertise for the HRADF.
