Novi Sad shortlisted for European Youth Capital 2018
NOVI SAD - Novi Sad is one of five candidate cities shortlisted for the title of European Youth Capital 2018, Exit Foundation announced on Wednesday.
The remaining four candidates still in the running are Manchester, Perugia, Kecskemet and Cascais.
Novi Sad is the only non-EU city among the last five, which makes its success even more impressive.

Travel Corridor 10 in Serbia over the next year
BELGRADE - The Road Corridor X section through Serbia will be completed by the end of next year, State Secretary with the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Miodrag Poledica said at the opening of a conference titled "Transport and Logistics of South East Europe and Danube Region - TIL 2015" on Thursday.

38-Year-Old Worker Crushed to Death By Heavy Machine in Ruse
A 38-year-old man was crushed to death by a 40-tonne machine in a unit of the former heavy machine production plant in the Danube city of Ruse.
The incident happened at the end of the workday on Monday, according to reports of local police, as cited by the Bulgarian National Television.
The team of emergency doctors could do nothing but register the death.

Serbia's protected areas win European Charter
BELGRADE - National park Fruska Gora and Gornje Podunavlje special nature reserve from Serbia won the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism in Protected Areas awarded by the EUROPARC Federation, officials of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) stated in the Belgrade Media Centre on Friday.
