Number of foreign Danube Delta visitors plunges more than 20 pct in 2019
The total number of travelers to the Danube Delta last year was almost in line with that of 2018, but the downward trend in foreign tourist arrivals continued, shows data of the Danube Delta Tourist Destination Management Association (AMDTDD).
Severe accident in Subotica: There are dead and injured
The accident happened at about 7.00 am, at the so-called Tavankut Crossroads.
Two people were killed and, according to the RTS, there are also injured who were transferred to the hospital in Subotica.
Traffic was diverted to alternative routes: to Ljutovo and Novi Zednik.
Traffic accident investigation is ongoing.
New owner of Port of Novi Sad to double investment
This was announced by P&O Port Dubai CEO Rado Antolovic after Friday's signing of the contract. He said the money would be invested to ensure a high level of operations at the port.

Danube Commission meeting in Belgrade
Opening the gathering on Friday, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic said that the objectives of the Danube Commission cooperation, linking and free movement of goods and people remain important for the region and Europe like it was 70 years ago.

Another Serbian product has protected geographical origin
This brand joins Futog cabbage and Fruska Gora lime honey as a protected product, a statement said.
Begec and Futog are towns near Novi Sad, the administrative center of Vojvodina. Mt. Fruska Gora is also located in Serbia's northern province.

Queues of Over 10 km at Both Danube Bridges
There is heavy truck traffic at the exit of the Bulgarian - Romanian border. All ferry points are not operating due to the ice flow, announced the Interior Ministry.
This is why there are long queues of vehicles waiting to enter Romanian territory. The queue at Danube Bridge - Vidin is about 14 km, while the queue at Danube Bridge - Ruse is about 13 km.

Ice on Danube River 4 meters thick at Dalj Bend
Ice on the Danube at the so-called Dalj Bend is four meters thick, says MUP Emergency Situations Sector chief Predrag Matic.
According to Maric, two more icebreakers will arrive in Serbia, to reopen the river to navigation all the way to Belgrade.
