BELGRADE - The 3rd Danube Business Forum will be held on October 27-29 in Belgrade and Novi Sad, the organisers announced on Wednesday.

The event is expected to bring together 800 participants - leaders in the fields of energy, water, agribusiness, transport, ITC, entrepreneurship and the creative industry in the Danube region, which includes 14 countries.

FM to attend third annual EUSDR meeting

BELGRADE -- First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić will head the Serbian delegation at the Third Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR).

The meeting is taking place in Vienna Thursday and Friday.

BELGRADE - Danube Competence Center (DCC) representatives presented on Friday the winning projects in a competition titled "Tourism and Biodiversity" aimed at making the best use of the biodiversity potential in the tourist offer of the Middle and Lower Danube River basin.

The level of the Bulgarian stretch of the Danube river is slightly decreasing, head of the Agency for Exploration and Maintenance of the river Georgi Georgiev informed.

BELGRADE - There are no threatened areas in Belgrade, the Danube level increased by two centimeters in the last 24 hours, while the Sava level went up by one centimeter, Milos Milovanovic, director of the public water management company Beogradvode, told Tanjug on Friday.
