Human skeleton found in ancient city of Misis
Excavations in the ancient city of Misis (Mopsuestia), located in the southern province of Adana, have revealed a human skeleton, which is estimated to date back to 3,000 years ago.
Known as the "immortal city," the ancient city has been excavated under the scope of a project initiated by the Yüreğir Municipality.

Mersin’s citrus festival like a carnival
As of five years ago, every year Mersin provides an entertaining festival, the âCitrus Festivalâ which brings different people from all over the world together in a celebration loaded with fruit Sometimes I watch video clips on YouTube where people do stupid things. They jump on a chair or table and fall down. Itâs all very hilarious, but you should be careful with what you laugh at.

Anavarza in Anatolia has richness of 10 ancient cities
Archaeological excavations in the ancient city Anavarza in the southern province of Adanaâs Kozan district are continuing on a 30-35 meter-wide cobblestone road.
The scientific consultant of the excavations, Ãukurova University Archaeology Departmentâs Assistant Professor Fatih GülÅen said excavations had started last year and continued with some 40 people.
