National Archeology Museum’s summer cultural fiesta
The National Archaeological Museum’s Festival runs through to July 30 with free concerts, theater, dance performances and film screenings. Favorite artists will entertain the audience with Myronas Stratis, Isaiah Matiaba, and Nikos Portokaloglou, while several music ensembles of the Municipality of Athens collaborate with prominent artists and they promise unique musical theme nights.

The 12th Gümü?lük Classical Music Festival continues in the popular western town of Gümü?lük. Organized in the Koyunbaba Antique Stone Quarry, the festival hosted the U.S. Kronos Quartet band on July 14.

Borodin Quartet gets music festival award
The 43rd Istanbul Music Festival's Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to the Borodin Quartet at a ceremony held on June 4 at the Hagia Irene Museum.
The quartet received the award from Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (?KSV) President Görgün Taner and Istanbul Music Festival Director Ye?im Gürer Oymak.

Istanbul Music Festival returns with full program
The 43rd Istanbul Music Festival is returning for another year this weekend with some of the most celebrated figures in the world of classical music.
Organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (?KSV), will start on May 31 with the opening ceremony and concert to be held at the Lütfi K?rdar Convention and Exhibition Center.

Huge crowds flock to 19 May meeting at Atatürk mausoleum
Turkey?s May 19 Youth and Sports Day was been marked by a huge crowds in the capital Ankara, as a concert took place at the ?An?tkabir? mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk for the first time in 17 years, in coordination with the mausoleum?s military command.
An?tkabir was open until midnight on May 19 for the concert, attracting large crowds.
