Cultural landscapes at Istanbul Music Festival
The 43rd Istanbul Music Festival will host some 600 local and international artists in Istanbul between May 31 and June 29 The 43rd Istanbul Music Festival, organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (?KSV), will once again present music lovers with a jam-packed program this year between May 31 and June 29. The program was announced at a press meeting on Feb. 3.

A new music festival under name of Saygun
?zmir has launched a bid to boost its cultural life with a new music festival organized under the name of a famous pianist, the late Ahmet Adnan Saygun. Organized by the ?zmir Metropolitan Municipality, the Saygun Music Festival, which kicked off Feb. 2, will continue until Feb. 9 at the Ahmet Adnan Saygun Arts Center.

Serbian composer's sonata becomes exam piece in France
BELGRADE - The Musical Confederation of France has chosen a sonata for bassoon and piano by Serbian composer Ivan Jevtic as a exam piece for students of third degree.
Jevtic has told Tanjug said that the final year students will be performing his sonata for bassoon and piano as an exam piece in 2015.
Jevtic's sonata has been published by Le chant du monde.
