Prime Minister Victor Ponta posted a message on Tuesday on his Facebook page to mark the 133rd birth anniversary of composer George Enescu, in which he writes that the famous composer offered Romania a modern identity starting from tradition.

The tenth edition of the Mozart Musical Festival will take place in Bulgarian town of Pravets on August 13-17.

The Martha Graham Dance Company celebrates the long and dynamic relationship between the pioneering modern dance choreographer and Greece this summer as the American troupe embarks on a mini summer tour across the country with a performance program that promises a few surprises.

Former SYRIZA MP Petros Tatsopoulos and Democratic Left (DIMAR) lawmaker Grigoris Psarianos are expected to join the recently formed centrist party To Potami after being named among the 60 non-party members that will take part in a “committee for dialogue” set up by the new movement.

The 2nd AIMA Ayvalık Music Festival, organized by the Ayvalık International Music academy (AIMA), will be held on July 8, 9 and 10 this year in the western province of Balıkesir’s Ayvalık district. The event will feature violin, viola and violoncello students of AIMA Master Classes.

The summer festival Opera in the Park organized annually by Bulgaria's Sofia Opera and Ballet in the Park of the National Military Academy will be held between July 4-July 27.

The festival program includes the ballet Swan Lake by Tchaikovsky, Giselle by Adolphe Adam, Don Quixote by Ludwig Minkus and Zorba the Greek by Mikis Theodorakis, Bulgaria's National Radio informs.

Journalist Stavros Theodorakis was confirmed as leader of To Potami on Sunday as the centrist party concluded its founding congress in Lavrio, southeast of Athens.

BELGRADE - Famous US dance company Mystic Ballet, whose founder and art director is Goran Subotic from Belgrade who has been living in the US for over 20 years, will perform in Belgrade June 7-8.
