ELTA changes top management
Greece's state assets fund appointed Polychronis Griveas and Elias Athanasiou as the new president and CEO, respectively, of troubled state-owned Hellenic Post (ELTA), during Thursday's general meeting.
Griveas previously headed the management of Astir Palace Vouliagmeni and Athanasiou was CEO of Enterprise Greece, the state-owned body that promotes Greek exports.

False alarm over 'suspicious' envelope sent to president
Bomb disposal experts were dispatched on Friday to a branch of Hellenic Post (ELTA) in Pyschico, near central Athens, after employees there deemed an envelope addressed to Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos to be suspicious, but further inspection determined it was harmless.
According to sources, the envelope was delivered to Pavlopoulos's home in Psychico at 12.30 p.m.
Athens postal workers on strike through Friday
Postal workers in the Greek capital have called rolling 24-hour strikes from Tuesday through Friday in protest at management decisions regarding delivery services.

Hellenic Post to sell electric power
Hellenic Post (ELTA) announced plans to expand its business activities in the energy market.
Costis Melahrinos, chairman and chief executive of Hellenic Post, told reporters that ELTA will begin selling electric power in December.
