ELAS: How the action of 14 criminal organisations was dismantled – 20,000-page file, 132 people involved
Greek police (EL.AS) have dismantled 14 criminal organizations operating in various areas of the country. Specifically, as part of the investigations, twelve criminal organizations involved in burglary and robbery were dismantled, one organization engaged in usury and extortion, and one organization involved in the production and distribution of forged documents.

Veljovic receives medal from Republic of Austria
VIENNA - Serbia's General Police Director Milorad Veljovic was decorated on Monday with the medal of the Republic of Austria for the promotion of police cooperation.
The Grand Gold Medal of Merit of the Republic of Austria was presented to Veljovic on behalf of Austrian President Heinz Fischer by Konrad Kogler, Director-General for Public Security of Austria.

Veljovic temporarily at helm of criminal police department
BELGRADE - General Police Director Milorad Veljovic will run the criminal police department until the appointment of a new chief, the Serbian Interior Ministry (MUP) stated in a release on Saturday.
The MUP notes that police generals Rodoljub Milovic, Mladen Kuribak, Zoran Tomasevic and Nenad Banovic have been dismissed.
Chiefs of police departments dismissed
BELGRADE - Chiefs of departments at the Serbian police will be dismissed, more precisely five chiefs at five departments, and their duties will be temporarily performed by their deputies, Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic told a news conference after a meeting of the Security Service Coordination Bureau on Friday.

Chiefs of police departments to be dismissed
BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has said that chiefs of departments at the Interior Ministry (MUP) will be dismissed.
He also stated that General Police Director Milorad Veljovic will remain in office.
