Chinese parliament chief visits Athens
The President of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (parliament) of the People's Republic of China, Zhao Leji, is making an official visit to Greece at the invitation of the President of the Hellenic Parliament, Konstantinos Tasoulas.
On Thursday at 11 a.m., Zhao will be received at the Presidential Mansion by President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou. At noon, he is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the Maximos Mansion.
On Wednesday, Zhao visited Crete, where he toured an olive mill in Peza, a village in the Archanes-Asterousia municipality, as well as the archaeological site of Knossos and the Heraklion Archaeological Museum.
